About the play:
The story proposed by the director Béres László, starting from a script signed by Kovács Ildikó and Dan Hândoreanu, has at its core a wooden puppet that comes to life, just like in the story of Carlo Collodi. Except that this Pinocchio is not a little liar, whose nose will grow, instead he is a child who needs affection, love and understanding, like any child. He lives, talks and moves only when surrounded by loved ones.
Those around him do not perceive him as a child, but only as a wooden puppet, which has the ability to move without strings and speak, a source of money or “educational” pride, which turns him into a commodity, a salable good. An outdated education system, talent shows that attract, as if in a trap, adults and children, fake scholars and commoners, are some aspects that can be found in this show.
“Pinocchio reloaded” is a show full of emotion, in which humor, irony and seriousness are balanced, and the messages from the story reach both children and adults.
