About the play:
Matei Vișniec’s play is a parable about the relationship between art and power, about laughter and the kings’ authority, and raises the issue of the artist (in the case of the clown) in a world where the will of power (the king’s) can decide that society no longer needs laughter (art). The performance “The King Angry At The Clown”, includes in its aesthetics, besides the theatrical component, elements of stereoscopic 3D image and theater of objects.
